Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
The Happy Explorers (“we”, “us”) runs this website at https://thehappyexplorers.com. We’re a family, and we take privacy seriously, especially children’s privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects and how it’s used.
The short version
- You can browse this site without giving us any personal information.
- We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
- We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
- We never publish the kids’ locations, schools, schedules or contact details.
Information you choose to send us
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, optional company name and message you enter. We use it only to read and reply to your message. The form is for adults (18+). Messages are delivered to our inbox through Cloudflare’s email service and kept only as long as we need them to handle your enquiry.
If we offer an email newsletter, signup happens on our mailing-list provider’s own page, and that provider’s privacy policy applies. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse (for example, spam and bot protection on the contact form). If we enable analytics, we use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics that count visits without building profiles of individuals.
YouTube videos
Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and the YouTube player only loads after you press play. Once it loads, YouTube (Google) may collect information underGoogle’s Privacy Policy. Links that open youtube.com are also covered by YouTube’s own terms and policies.
Shopping
When our shop is open, checkout is handled by Shopify. Payment and shipping details are entered on Shopify’s secure checkout, never on this website, and are covered byShopify’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
This site is family-friendly, but it isn’t designed to collect information from children. Our contact form asks people to confirm they’re 18 or older. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services (such as YouTube after you press play, or Cloudflare security checks) may set their own cookies needed for them to work.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you’ve sent us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us by email at thehappyexplorers7@gmail.com or through our contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top when we do.
